US Council on Osteopathic Manual Practice Education
The US Council on Osteopathic Manual Practice Education (UCOMPE) is a
national organization established by the osteopathic manual practice
profession in the United States of America to accredit schools providing
osteopathic manual practice education and training. The main goal of
the UCOMPE is to assure the quality of osteopathic manual practice
education and training against a set of national educational Standards.
Once an osteopathic manual practice school has demonstrated that it is in substantial compliance with the Standards set by UCOMPE the school is accredited for up to four years.
The UCOMPE is the only external quality assurance organization for osteopathic manual practice education and training in the US.
